Apparently they had good feedback from their private showing at CES. Interestingly, they have a technology that works, and works well. The images on their 1080p screen are supposed to be very vivid, sharp with good dark contrast...almost like looking out a window. Very competitive to LCD, DLP and plasma. The company still has somewhere between $10-12M in cash and only 7M shares outstanding. The market is valuing the company at $17M, valuing the technology at only $5-7M. Considering Philips, Intel, JVC and Sony spent a lot more than that to develop their LCOS technology that is inferior to Brillian's, makes the company and it's technology, in my mind, a bargain and ripe for a takeover or at the very least, a licensing deal. Remember, the core LCOS technology works and can be made in production level quantities. Only the light engine has been a problem and hopefully should have this fixed by summer.

My sense is that a partnership or M&A announcement will come soon from a major TV manufacturer. Perhaps even one of the up and coming companies out of China. A partner who has the patience to accept a slow buildout as they wait for JDSU to be to produce their light engine commercially. Besides a potential partner will still need to do its own internal testing and development. If Brillian can sign something soon, perhaps this process will be done by summer, just in time for a major launch. Their HUD display also has a lot of promise as a kicker.

There is also a scenario in which the company gets an equity investment by its partner and saves us all from a desperation PIPE.

Good luck!

Tom
