I live IN THE MIDDLE between TWO nuclear power stations. The KEY to safety is safety rules that are ENFORCED. A modern Nuclear power plant really offers no danger that I can see IF the RULES are followed. JDN

According to the environmental lobby using fossil fuels will destroy the entire earth, potentially with a huge climate shift in the next 20 years.

Nukes look pretty safe next to that.

Thanks for the numbers. I think the use of nuclear to replace coal can be sold to the environment crowd as the lesser of two evils.
