The way to spread democracy is to use our matchless media facilities to broadcast worldwide a view of a nation that has its fiscal house in order, that revels in the equality and diversity of its population, that exudes hope and not fear and is the best place to live on Earth. Forcing conversion to democracy at the point of a bayonet will work as well as forced conversion to Christianity worked among the Jews in Spain.
