Now I must admit to having read most of MM's posts and thus had no problem understanding the meaning of his message.

Anyway, I just tried to be witty and probably didn't succeed too well...

Last but not least I need to make a confession: having been in MM's position I would still have voted for GB the 2nd time in spite of his lousy execution which is a fact most of us probably can agree on. I never trusted Kerry, his flops, his Vietnam fairytale - and his always so slick hairstyling...

MM obviously is a lot more pragmatic though. Or most probably a lot younger than me.

Having said all that, just a bottom line comment which has nothing to do with this subject:
A total of 538 Swedes are confirmed lost in SE Asia at this time.
Every day I see the obituaries in "Svenska Dagbladet", probably the best North European daily. It just is hearbreaking for anybody with any kind of compassion left in his body. Pretty much the same amount of lifes lost just 10 years ago on "Estonia", the ferry.

PS/ "reich" means "rich", an adjective. "Reich" or "Das Reich", a noun, means a large nation within national boarders. Related to the Anglosaxian "reign" I guess.
In your context that would be "Das dritte Reich" or "Das tausendjährige Reich". Lasted for 12 years only though...
