In the meantime, there are two things you can do to prevent all your pics from going poof:

Just one thing needs to be done.

(1) Copy all your photos onto CD's and store them in a fire proof box. At 700 MB per disc, £20 per hundred CD's, it's a cheap solution that depends on nobody except yourself.

I would cancel any service that had a threat where my photos could be deleted.
