If nothing happens, then there isn't problem. Just be prepared. I will say that if I were in AdminBob's position and SP complained about this and linked to the discussion, I wouldn't think twice. The fact that you aren't alone isn't a factor. The fact that you are in violation of simple human courtesy is. Period.
