So what makes you so sure of the 7%? Because the Bush admin tells you so?

For more than the last century stock markets average returns have been well above 11%, and the true average is about 6% above the long riskfree bond rate.

There is absolutely no reason to expect this will change. Even if, god forbid, the rate was half that, these investors will still be ahead of where they would have been.

It is just stupid not to support it, certainly for anyone under 40.
