More evidence that Iran isn't acting in good faith and will have to be a target soon..........

Iran Tests Atomic Parts Despite Freeze -Diplomats

By Louis Charbonneau

VIENNA (Reuters) - Iran has been testing parts for machines that could be used to develop nuclear weapons, despite a promise to temporarily refrain from all such activities, Western diplomats said on Thursday.

Several Western diplomat who follow the U.N.'s International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) told Reuters on condition of anonymity Iran was performing quality control checks of "non-essential items" for centrifuges, machines that purify uranium to make fuel for nuclear power plants or weapons.

"If they would act in good faith, there would be a complete standstill of every activity that relates to centrifuges," one diplomat said. This may be a breach of Iran's pledge to freeze all activities related to uranium enrichment, he added.

Bush's liberty song echoes Vietnam tune

ANTONIA ZERBISIAS

"When U.S. President George W. Bush strode into the Capitol to give his State of the Union address last night, his supporters waved their darkened fingers at him in celebration of his triumph at the Iraqi polls.

But was that purple ink or did Congress stir the purple Kool-Aid with its collective fingers? And are Americans expected to drink it, the way so many swallowed the administration's lies about weapons of mass destruction that the media reheated and served up?"
