Some one on the CWEI board called the guy at EIA - The EIA guy said he had over 30 compliants / inquiries...

SO if the trading community starts to realize that this could be another EIA error, they will start to go long. Also, Joe Bastardi is looking for more cold starting Feb. 10 - this is likely to show up on other forecasts as well.

****

On your GW, might try a limit order higher than the market before open - may 5.40 to 5.44

OR

It seems some of the weather updates happen in the late afternoon, especially Friday just before the markets close - A higher ask price might get hit then.

OR wait until next week - EIA sometimes corrects on MOnday.

>>>Looks like you have the trend on your side. <<<

Best of Luck

P.S. The EIA errors last year took out a piece of my hide.

Buck,

My understanding of EIA is that there is the weekly partial storage survey and a monthly survey with a more complete universe of storage operators (and perhaps more detailed info, I'm not sure about this). So when the more complete monthly data comes is, an adjustment is made in the weekly numbers to account for this anamoly.

Re trade on GW... Last week it took 6 minutes for me to get a MARKET ORDER filled on GW. Ameritrade said the order (for 1100 shares) was routed to the market maker with the best price at the time, but that maker only had 100 shares and he did a partial fill while waiting to get the other shares to fill the order.

I told Ameritrade that "ain't right". I didn't hire you to wait around and "get me the best price" I hired you to execute the order AT MARKET. On such a small order it should have happened almost instantly...SIX minutes!!! I couldn't believe it! Also, this is the second time this happened to me within the last few weeks, and I think the first time was also on GW stock (not sure).
