If you really believed that, you would be doing everything you can to stop the out of control pork spending

I'm strongly against pork spending but

1 - It is dwarfed by Social Security and Medicare.

2 - Not much I can do to stop it.

and encourage the GOP to roll back the tax cuts.

Which might only result in even less restrain on the spending side than we currently have (hard as that is to believe) and which is itself harmful to the economy. Budget deficits aren't good but neither are higher taxes.
