Carabinieri and CosaNostra! Correction: Cosanostra is an American invention. In Italy you have Mafia (Sicilian), Ndrangeta (Calabria) and Camorra (in Naples).

These are the three institutions with whom Italian States, and SISMI has ongoing dialgogue.

In that you should add the Vatican that is the banker to these insitution and helps them.

There is no clear boundry as which is which, the picture is complex.

Poor Carabinieris are a police institution that has nothing to do with any of above, they are simply low paid policemen that get theselves shoot-at and die for little money.

Gus, I just heard from some sources that last night various targets inside the Iranian territory West of Sanandej were attacked. The fire-fight was visible from the US side in Iraq.

Also an unknow Iranian target in Deh Loran in Iranian Kuridstan was attacked both by land and airborn units and with heavy looses on the Iranian side.

So far the IRNA is quiet. It seems that the regime is too afraid to communicate the latest developments to the population.

I had forseen this last week, right? Here we are.
