You're dead wrong.

Lack of freedom did not provoke bin Laden and Mohammed Atta. They had freedom, personally.

What motivated them was lack of dominance, lack of power, lack of control.

I remember it well. And I have since noted that Bush has seemingly adopted it--the root cause is the lack of freedom. Funny how the Bushies haven't noticed that

I, for one, have noticed it. I've also noticed that the lefties that cried for "root causes" ignore it. Because that's not what they meant at all.
