Mish, From what I was looking at, he barely squeaked by to the positive. Thanks to creating more govt. jobs to support his war machine and the homeland security scamola, to make up for being asleep at the switch on terror prior to 9/11.

The measure I used was "private sector" jobs. Under Bush, the number of government jobs increased by almost 900K ... so for overall jobs, Bush was positive.

But Bush is the first President since Hoover to have negative net PRIVATE SECTOR jobs.
