BTW, did u know that people in the US on a work visa, also pay SS taxes, even tho they may never collect on it, because they may not be US citizens ? Therefore I believe, my description of "Ponzi scheme" is appropriate.

In addition to your note, I think that there are way too many special interest groups that don't have to pay into the SS system...I really would like to know how many people in the US don't have to pay into SS....and how many of them figure out a way to collect from it.

Also, perhaps the special interest groups that don't pay, including Congress, should only get the same interest on the investment that SS gets....

If that happened, there would be a change overnight!!!
