By in large, I found that most folks who worked for the government,or large businesses, OTHER than the Military, didn't work out well in small business...(I defined that as under 100 employees.)

Small business does not have time for meetings throughout the day, several days a week. Most often, the small business needed a better qualified candidate than the large business did...one that could wear many hats at the same time, and had a 'can do' attitude.

The Military folks I saw (didn't see too many, but did see some over the years) could all have worked in either environment....Great training, IMO!
