Ted,

Re: I would use it in reference to Mr. Bush repeating things. ;~)

Adolf Hitler and his propaganda minister were masters of the game. They created George Bush. Or rather, the same sinister forces that allowed Hitler to rise are also behind the rise of George Bush and all the malevlolent rotten militarism that he lusts for.

What George Bush is doing is what Joseph Goebells, Nazi propaganda minister said to do:

"Propaganda has only one object - to conquer the masses. Every means that furthers this aim is good; every means that hinders it is bad." --Joseph Goebbels, Hitler's Propaganda Minister

"Let us then stand together and enter the new year with courage. The whole people should be confident of the government's thanks. Each of us is proud that we serve the people in a high position. We are all members of the people, we express its spirit and its will. The lowliest of our people is dearer to us than the king of another nation. And we would rather be the lowliest citizen of our nation than the king of another." -- Joseph Goebbels, January 1, 1934

"Think of the press as a great keyboard on which the government can play." Joseph Goebbels

"It is the absolute right of the state to supervise the formation of public opinion."

"The bigger the lie, the more it will be believed"

"The most brilliant propagandist technique will yield no success unless one fundamental principle is borne in mind constantly... it must confine itself to a few points and repeat them over and over."

***
George Bush: "They have weapons of mass destruction." "Social Security is in crisis." "We believe in freedom and liberty." "Don't misunderestimate the stupidity of the American public." "You can fool some of the people all of the time, and those are the ones to concentrate on."
