Well, for one thing, if prices of drugs and other forms of medical care weren't spinning out of control, that wouldn't be as much of a problem.

It could be that the departure of health care from the basic free market system (customers use their own money to purchase goods and services on their merit), replacing it with a series of blank checks, given to holders of various health insurance policies has something to do with the prices spinning out of control.

Suppose you go to restaurant or a store and have to pay with your own money. You would look very carefuly at the price tags. Suppose you can just take all you want, with no effect on your wallet.

Don't you thing that your shopping trips would have different results?
