Smithee, Yes, prostitution is legal here but only in certain areas.

A few years back we had a visiting assistant DA from some place in Wisconsin or Michigan who apparently did not know that prostitution is not legal in all of Nevada and most definitely not legal in Reno or Las Vegas. Assistant DA dude makes arrangements to have a lady of the night sent to his room at <mega-renowned casino>. After he and she <deleted>, she proceeds to rob him of his Rolex watch and $500. He promptly reports the robbery to the local constable. Do I have to tell you what a career-limiting move that was for our visiting assistant DA? Oh yes, he was in town to attend a conference on domestic violence. - Holly
