I still believe in the USA. The FF had the right idea. They set up a Presidency, not a Kingdom. They limited the powers given to one man. They knew that someday, someone will come along and not get it. To do what you think, requires a leader that is very thoughtful (even though you may think the thoughts are wrong), he would have to think through those thoughts very thoroughly, he would have to work very hard to put those thoughts into action, and he would have to be very smart to get those things accomplished before term limits kick in. George W Bush is not the man you think he is. He admits to not working very hard before he was forty years old (which was not that long ago). His records show that he did not study very hard while in school. There is no evidence that he has written anything on his own. There is no evidence that he reads that much even now. (Maybe someday he will have someone write his autobiography and perhaps he will read it. Jimmy Carter - I am getting to like him more and more - is a born again Christian just like George W Bush says he is, but I am sure Jimmy Carter has read and reads the Bible for guidance - if you get my drift. I am digressing <ggg>). George W Bush is not grooming a successor. It wouldn't be that bad if he were to groom his brother Jeb. I doubt Jeb respects George W's intellect that much. George W. Bush is a one time event. The neocons are taking every advantage of that in the time that is left. George W. Bush likes his Air Force One, Marine helicopter One, and all the ceremonies of the Presidency. He is by nature not very hard working. He did not even prepare for his first debate with John Kerry. He went into that, it seems, as if he never read anything about what his administration was doing. He was force to memorize some talking points for his second and third debates - and even then he had to wear a wire for those talking points that he didn't bother to read. The FF knew what they were doing when they set up a Presidency rather than rule by one man. They knew they couldn't leave the fate of the country to just one man. This is still a great country.
