<<I lived most of my life within 20 miles of the PP&L nuclear power plant in central PA. No worries, mate.>>

I was fishing 300 yards from the Clinton nuke plant, the one that is so bad it made 60 Minutes. 9 miles to the launch ramp and the damn warning siren went off. I about stroked out until my buddy said it was siren testing day.

<I lived most of my life within 20 miles of the PP&L nuclear power plant in central PA. >

I lived in Pottstown, PA for about 7 years - the Limerick nuke power plant was 2 miles away from my house. 1st monday of every month, at 2PM, the siren would go off - as a test.
Led me to think that if any one wanted to do harm, that would be the perfect time, as residents would just consider it the usual test.
