Watched UNDER THE VEIL the other night either on History Channel or one of the premium channels.. The Iranian youth in the Universities are the only ones opposing their government at great risk to themselves.. as the regime is tyrannical because of their religious beliefs.. I smile when those in our Country accuse the University professors of being too liberal. It has always been the Universities that have aroused a people into a conscienceness. Most Iranians are busy chanting,clapping and revering their leaders whom they call Guides . The educated who do not like the oppression and who speak against it are in prison. They are not represented and are there for years... Zeal ism in any form including our own Fundamentalists here in this Country who reject all theirs that do not agree with the Bible, who are against Civil Rights for people and who combine religion with State are just as dangerous.. I thought as I watched the program. Thank heavens for a separation of Church and State.
