"in a vain attempt to discredit their religious leaders"

It is not the factual reporting that "discredits" the Orthodox Jewish "religious leaders" that practice this abominable ritual but rather the practice by these NY rabbis of this abominable perversion from the Babylonian Talmud. The thing that "discrdits" here is the fact that the Jewish Talmud mandates this practice and the fact that American Orthodox rabbis continue to practice this abomination from the Jewish Dark Ages.

Amazing.........the rabbi has been found guilty by you without the benefit of a trial or even a full investigation, and you presuppose that this bizarre practice is common among American orthodox rabbis.

Its all nonsensical ramblings of a person badly biased.

But it's a very small number who do, and it's disappearing over time (it should definitely be outlawed).

There are plenty of things that we'd find offputting in the Jewish Bible, the Jewish Talmud, the Christian Bible, the Koran, and probably every other religious book. It doesn't mean we can condemn all religious (though I may deride them a bit).
