Your comment may have satisfied you in some way, but it does not tell me anything that I can use to avoid those endless arguments. It tells me nothing that enables me to adjust my opinion, should it need adjusting. It tells me nothing that enables me to adjust my behavior, should it need adjusting. All it tells me is that you are fed up with the colloquy and/or me. "I am fed up" comes out at "this is why you get into endless arguments." If your message is the former, then you should say so directly. If your message is the latter, then you should give me some actionable information. Otherwise it's a useless put-down. In short, IMO we have arguments (quarrels) in large part because some of us decline to provide an argument (a coherent series of statements leading from a premise to a conclusion).
