Laz, we have mega-gallons of water! We have Hoover Dam. We have Lake Mead. We have Lake Tahoe. We have dozens of lakes and rivers here in the desert. We just had umpteen feet of snow dumped on the state. Lack of water is not a problem in Nevada. Can you say the same for California?

Yes, I have very mixed feelings about the Yucca Mountain project and can argue either side.

Nevada is home to some major industrial heavy hitters. We have the Amazon.com distribution center. We have Microsoft's licensing department. We have IGT, the world's largest manufacturer of gaming machines and a stellar performer on the NYSE. I could go on. Nevada is a thriving economy.

Free and easy Nevada has a large stake in tourism to feed its economy. Gambling is one of the many things attracting tourist dollars into Nevada. - Holly
