would really rather not have a nuclear waste dump in my back yard.
WELL, Holly, maybe you should import some more CAers. :-)
Get your electoral vote count up and you can stop it. Some poor sucker behind you would get it instead.

But what would you do? If you want nuclear power (which seems better than Arab oil), you get nuclear waste. And you gotta store it someplace. Where?

Respectable industries? I see you left out the Amazon.com distribution center.
That's one. So you have one in the state. Great. I can see why it was thought to be a good nuclear testing ground. :-)

I'd love to see a tally of tourists and find out exactly how many come to Nevada because prostitution is legal.
I don't think you ever will. And I wouldn't believe the numbers anyway. People do lie about such things.

As you know, it's legal only in parts of Nevada, and I'd wager there is just as much, if not more, prostitution in states, such as California, where it is illegal.
Gee, Holly, we have 16X the population of NV. I'd be surprised if there were not as much or more too. That doesn't mean you have to legalize it.

That is probably preferable to legalizing gambling, though.
