<could you offer any reasonable explanation why other currency is more worthy than the USD ?>

Some central banks, just don't run printing presses as aggressively, and others run decent account balances. But it's all relative, and admittedly hard to analyze. The advantage of holding a currency rather than an asset like gold, is that interest gets paid on it. However, now that the hedge funds and speculators have largely exited (*) their long gold positions (but not FX yet) my preferred instrument for now is the yellow dog. 200 day MA is at $412,

and now is the time to load up. I have an old post saying that if got down to 200 MA it would be a rare and unique opportunity to get in. It's now close enough.

(*) Comex spec longs down to 87,188 from 260,000 in Nov as of last Tuesday. POG was $422 on Tuesday, $415 now, so more are gone.
