Here is the post that I commented on. ”Sioux, I heard your grand kids gave you a hat that says " I am an Ass" Don't your grandkids like you?” I have attacked Sioux my self in the past for for what I considered dishonorable conduct. I find ‘Ass/donkey’ comments to be humorous btw. But when you attack the loving attention of grand kids you lose the benefit of being clever and simply dishonor your own humanity. Kids are a particular soft spot with me. Dishonor is a personal problem that I don’t pay much attention too normally. However there are times when I feel compelled to weigh in. One of those is when my silence would imply my collusive support. I supported Bill Clinton when he ran for president. The moment that I saw bill was expecting American citizenry to collude with him in his dishonorable lies, I withdrew my support. I initially waited for bill c to come clean and make it right or step down. When he continued to violate the trust of the voters I had to speak against it. I have earned the reputation of being a conservative on these threads. My comments may often be mirrored in some form by those of people such as longnshort. On occasion I have spoken against his remarks. I recall having labeled some of his as bigoted in the past. He has openly attacked me on this thread and others more than once and he is free to continue expressing his opinion here. However, I will also. There was no ‘stab in the back’ as I posted directly to him. He dishonors himself even more with such comments. Here is my comment. As everyone can see there was nothing going in the back it was an in your face type of comment. As you can see I do not hold him at a different standard than myself and freely admit to my own indiscretions. The right thing to do when someone has crossed a line of honor is to stand up, admit your foul even to an enemy and reclaim your dignity. Longnshort accused Souix as being thin skinned on this matter. Now that I have watched longnshort whining and bashing me across more than one thread, I’d say he has no room to talk. You may recall another conservative poster that I (and you) had to take a stand against. I didn't see this as a huge issue, my comment was fairly mild ... longnshort, however, seems to want to make it one. I am not changing my stand on this even if I stand alone on this silly tarafirma of existence. Get over it ... or don't. I remain, jewel
