Laz, you told me when you moved to California. I know when my family moved to California. I remember the endless orange and avocado groves and remember working orchards and family dairy farms where one now sees endless highrises and strip malls. Trust me on this: I was there a lot longer than you have been.

Teaching the alphabet to high school graduates was a blast. Someone else taught them numbers and math. <g>
