Laz, when a hospital I worked at went totally nonsmoking, one of the docs discovered that he could shred a cigarette into his coffee, and the nicotine would keep him going most of the night and he didn't feel the need to take a cigarette break. He swore by it and happily preached the gospel all through the department and far and wide to his fellow addicts. I never tried it, as my job allowed for frequent smoke breaks. Drunk on the job? Nein! I once worked a shift that ended at 1:30 a.m. Lots of people work that sort of shift--even in California, I'd bet. Chain stores are chain stores, wherever they are located. Their merchandise comes from the same places, I am sure. You don't really want to drink at the bar at a brothel. I hear the drinks are way overpriced. <g> And when does your fine Republican governor cum up for reelection? - Holly
