Bubbles and Politics:

Some stocks are in a bubble now, but not like the 2000. Remember the Naz was over 5000 back then and 6000 was the famous forecast for 2001. THAT was unjustified. That bubble ruined lives even if you "profited handsomely." Retirees were throwing their life savings into IOMEGA and losing a tonn of money? Not to mention Vertical Net at 180 something. So you want to give Clinton credit for those disasters?

The record deficits have saved this economy! ANY President would have done the same thing. Do you think the Dems would have sat back and watch the economy implode? Fiscal and monetary policy turned it around. The tax cuts turned it around. We were headed for DEFLATION and DEPRESSION without those tax cuts and the resulting deficits.

Deficits? We would have never fought WWII if we were so worried about deficits as the Dems are today. Every war causes deficits.

Warmongering? This is where you run off the track. The policies of the US may have brought the war on terror to our shores. If that's true then you're beloved Clinton has to take the bulk of the blame because HE was our leader for 8 years leading up to 9-11. But I'm not going to debate that. Fact is there is a war on terror. And if you think sitting at home on your hands is the solution then so be it. But the voters in November spoke and Bush won despite the conspiracy theories and Jesse Jackson.

If the Dems want to win back the people they need to do it with moderation not Howard Dean. Hilary is the only one who understands that.....or is it Bill.
