about time SEC writes a primer on what these "accounting trades" are that show up after hours, usually just after the close.

Obviously, it's the same list of stocks for which I noted the weird trades on Friday. I believe that market participants are exchanging shares in forward-sales agreements, but with balancing of accounts on a daily basis to cover naked shorting and thus meet requirements of Reg. SHO. Hey, no guesses ventured, no additional hints garnered.... feel free to call me silly and give reasons. :-)

Hi Rick, Those blocks are interesting. It looks like EXEL had 2 of the similar size @ 8.04 one @ 5:49:38 pst and the other @ 5:29:52 PST. CTIC also had 2 of the similar size @ 9.99 one @ 5:49:22 and the other @ 5:30:14. ARIA also had 2 of the similar size @ 7.52 one @ 5:50:00 and the other @ 5:29:47. MYGN had 2 of similar size @ 25.47, one @ 5:49:27 and the other @ 5:30:18. LGND had 2 of similar size @ 10.91, one @ 5:50:03 and the other @ 5:30:21. DSCO had 2 of similar size @ 6.05, one @ 5:50:12 and the other @ 5:29:58. TRMS had 2 of similar size @ 12.05, one @ 5:50:02 and the other @ 5:29:46. DYAX had 2 of similar size @ 5.58, one @ 5:50:04 and the other @ 5:29:20. CRGN had 2 of similar size (22,151) @ 6.18, one @ 5:50:00 and the other @ 5:30:20. Who knows what was going on, but it looks like elephant prints to me...bwdik? My question is were they coming or going? Best of Luck, SS
