Bought it for the lake.... should be next to perfect for the flucky winds... Rhodes is the best of the trailerable shoal draft coastal cruisers. Technically superb handling boat. Will be finished out for sleeping so it can be trailered to the ocean or other large bodies of water for coastal and bay cruising, but it's not all that comfortable for life at sea. Gotta find a motor... Good Luck with the Baja, did you get a bow rider...? Actually, I'm headed up there couple of days. Chip
