Do you have anything to back that up? Sounds like horse**** to me. I don't believe the gentleman in question has ever done anything that is any way beneficial to me.

Because my husband is a British subject, our family can live and work in Europe, where I would also have quite a bit of freedom of speech. Spouting off to one's heart's content is not just an American thing, actually. And I believe the Australians and New Zealanders enjoy many of the same freedoms.

That general is a bloodthirsty pig of a man as far as I am concerned. I owe him nothing. He is a disgrace to the American military in my opinion, and not a very discreet or refined person, either. A bloody braggart, I think the English would call him.

Sorry, Bill--I do not mean to be inflammatory. I just think people like that general are the worst America has to offer civilization. IMHO, of course.
