the qualities associated with being designed that they would include complexity and order. A hallmark of design is that the designer can use differnet and more specialized processes for each work of art. A hallmark of life on earth is that all creatures work from exactly the same toolset. The origin of the first life is still not known, but then there are lots of things that are still not known. After all, weve only been working on this problem for a tiny fraction of 1 percent of life's span on earth. It's pretty clear that the first life was based on RNA which only later evolved to use the more stable DNA. TP
