Jane, I never said that Dubya was an active drunk. I said he was an untreated drunk. DRY DRUNK SYNDROME counterpunch.org He drank heavily until he was 40 years old. It caused him numerous problems but having been born with the "silver spoon" in his mouth his problems were always covered up by his family. But not well enough, it seems. I have read articles about his scurrilous affairs in the financial world and how he sold insider stock just prior to his oil company restating earnings that caused the stock to plunge to penney status. Where was Geo.? Long gone. Next his uncle who was on the New York stock exchange, set him up with a sweetheart deal for a piece of the Houston Astros for chump change. Shortly after, bond issues were passed that completely renovated the stadium and Dubya turned his chump change into millions as he departed Houston with enough money to set him up for the rest of his life. See the US News and World Report if you don't believe me. He loved booze and the "white stuff" it has been said. His problems with the law and DUI is on record. Even his penchant for hurting small helpless animals when he was a boy is known. Remember the sweet girl who was convicted because she was an accomplice to her boyfriend and received the death penalty? She became a born again Christian and the Pope and Billy Graham begged him, as governor, to spare her life. Not George. He never once spared a life on the hundreds of executions that occurred on his watch in Texas. Now the man thinks that he is chosen to carry the world into the Second Coming of Jesus Christ and he is making sure that he plunges the Middle East into a war with Israel. The Jews have to die before the return of Christ, don't you know? I am so sad for you because your mind is closed to reality. You remind me of the religious Jews that Christ preached against. Not even the Son of God could wake them from their disbelief and stupor. So dear Jane, I implore you to wake up! Do not so easily be led by false shepherds. The road you are on leads to death. James
