Those who are liquid before the sh*t hits the fan IMO. I don't mean guys like you and me so much as Big Money players who have built cash reserves for when asset prices deflate.

Another winner, cartels who are able to consolidate control over industry and gain preferable access to credit as margins are squeezed.

Oh, and finally those who made off like bandits in the geared financial economy prior to the bust. Sure, the bust is painful, but it was a great party while it lasted. :(

Them's my thoughts on the matter anyway.
