This is absolutely true. Probably same can be said about Cuba and Vietnam. Once a country gets put on the "bad guys" list, most Americans don't even know the history, we just learn that they aren't on our side.

Sure. You can read in the Israeli newspapers of moderate Israelis who say there are injustices being perpetrated against the Palestinians. I believe it. Both sides are doing things that are very destructive. But I still believe the U.S. should continue supporting Israel, because Europe is too one sided in their support of Palestinians. There needs to be a balance to that equation. The U.S. support of Israel provides balance.
