That's entirely possible Reid.

The support at $45 is not rock-solid, $41 is much better support. The BB on the weekly chart is currently $41.51.

But there is also fairly good support at $44, which shows up better on the weekly chart. Actually, that support looks a bit better to me than $45:

As I've said before, oil could well settle into a trading range here for an extended period, probably between $42 and $50 if it happens. I know OPEC is trying hard to maintain an orderly market. They won't let the bottom fall out, and have pledged to prop it up should oil fall to $37, but I think they will act long before that. I suspect they are hoping for either a trading range, or a moderate uptrend.

I think we're about to see a replay of November's action in this stock.

OSIP

139.142.147.218

=========================================

OSIP OSI Pharm misses by $0.26 (62.73 -0.54)

Reports Q1 (Dec) loss of $0.98 per share, $0.26 worse than the Reuters Estimates consensus of ($0.72); revenues rose 8.8% year/year to $12.4 mln vs the $19.2 mln consensus. Co reported that sales of Tarceva were $13.3 mln, vs street expectation of $9.0 mln.

==========================================

Tarceva sales were nice, but that's one heck of a miss. I mean, that's not even in the same county as consensus estimates.

Of course, OSIP puts its own spin on things, but even if you buy this story below, that doesn't explain why they didn't communicate better with analysts and shareholders..... that sort of behavior will not inspire confidence:

I think they'll get crucified tomorrow. Remains to be seen how the gap down trades after the open, but my guess is this one is dead money for several months at least.
