They MUST have actually thought it out:

Who's the ONE GUY in our party who is more of an intellectual smear on the wall than Terry McAuliffe?

And somebody in the back of the room-on his eighth martini-yells, "I GOT IT! HOWARD DEAN!!!".

History in the making (hic)...

Well, I just hope that he is HONEST, there is no doubt in my mind that Dean will be very DIVISIVE, which I dont think is a good thing. Terry was a smooth operator but like many of the Clintonites, CROOKED AS HELL which IMHO was a VERY BAD THING for the nation. jdn

There is something about Dean that the Dem powerful don't like and its not his liberalism either. The Dems have very high profile liberals who are much more liberal than Dean that they have no problem with. Something else is going on there but not sure what. Dean got robbed on the Presidential nomination. The Dem primary process was exposed as a complete fraud when Kerry came out of nowhere when Dean had all the money. I fully expect another fraud to occur to keep Dean from getting the DNC chair but don't know what it will be yet.
