"Created" implies "creator".

Created implies creator. Creator doesn't necessarily imply God, certainly it doesn't imply a God anything like the doctrines of any religion.

In theory it conceivable that it could be possible to discover that the universe really did have a creator. The attempt to do so is not outside of science. The fact that there is no evidence for the claim or any current way to even investigate the claim is what makes it pseudo science. (Note: I'm hardly praising or supporting the idea by calling it pseudo science)

Talking about the idea that the universe may have been created, even in a public school, in no way establishes religion.
