tw, Re: I am wondering if any of the people that lost loved ones have put as much effort into 9/11 as you have. Carol Ashley was a member of the Family Steering Committee. Here's a 20 page letter she sent listing a number of questions that the FSC wanted to have answered. For the most part, the Kean -Zelikow Commission simply ignored these questions. 911independentcommission.org There was a tremendous amount of work done, largely behind the scenes, by the families of the victims of 9/11. Nothing that any of us have done here on SI is comparable in any way to the extraordinary effort put forth the FSC and certain other individuals and organizations.

I'd very much like to see a really first rate documentary/movie made on the hard evidence surrounding 9/11. The few I've looked at, of those floating around, are mostly garbage. The best evidence gets left out while the most speculative stuff is left in, and somewhere along the line it all gets tied in to some absurd secret society of some kind or another. All the evidence points straight at PNAC, with a lot of help from Israel. Out of over 3 million sites dedicated to 9/11, only a hand full mention the Israeli connection, and virtually none of them mention PNAC except for isolating the New Pearl Harbor quote. The truly sad part is I suspect there are a whole lot of people, who have given a whole lot of money, to all the wrong people. Lately it looks like the majority of the self proclaimed heros of the 9/11 truth movement have turned out to be straw men. It's all cotton candy, it looks big and wonderful, but when you sink your teeth into it, all you have is a lot of hot air and a nasty aftertaste. I wonder where the 9/11 truth movement would be today if it weren't for all the false prophets.

The families that I know personally - in particular the parents of a good friend of mine who was killed - consider such theories ridiculous.
