(In the beginning of the sect, they actually perhaps truly believed in it's fundamentalism --- many, no doubt, still do --- and they promoted it at every opportunity, lavishing vast amounts of money on it. For whatever reason, they still do fund it WORLD-WIDE. That's a HUGE problem.)
