I don't mean any disrespect, No problem. I have started up several small businesses. Failed with a couple, succeeded with the last one. Nobody offered me a subsidy, nor should anybody get one. There is nothing "holy" about farming Ish. It's a business, like any other, and the small guy succeeds by finding a niche. If I had a small farm and wanted to stay on it, I would look for a way to sell direct to restaurants. Or some other niche. A small farmer trying to compete with a commodity farm crop is nuts. The big guy will always beat your brains out.
