I just read that all subsidies to Amtrak are to be cut by Bush's budget. That means all intercity passenger train travel in the US will come to an end. Makes sense........most of the heavily used trains are in the blue states.

It probably isn't gettin' through Congress though.

Do you honestly think they will save the Amtrak subsidy? The GOP has been dying to kill Amtrak for years.
