The moral approval of the group is important to them. This is going to help as we reduce our amount of "face" in Iraq.


Beyond the group, the moral authority of Islam is important to them. Persuasion along the lines of "heretic preachers have misled you about the true Islam for their own ends" has a lot of potential. We don't talk about it because it's not an argument that we can take part in.
