Sudbury, yes that was it DJ, thanks. It was very impressive to see about 10 rail wagons emptying red hot molten slag down the slope at night. We have some nice photos.

Wow, Google is great. A couple of seconds and here's a photo very similar to ours: uwgb.edu As with most photos, it's more impressive in 3D up close and personal.

An aerial view of our very own Martha Mine at Waihi. I haven't previously seen an aerial view. Although I've been through the town hundreds of times, and driven all around it, I hadn't seen the mine until only a few years ago. You have to drive up a hill to get a view of it. I hadn't realized how much area it takes up compared with the town! deh.gov.au
