I think it's a bit hypocritical. I often see bashers shouting, "you can't attack the message, so you need to attack the messenger."

Do you think that he's the only one concerned about this issue?

Do you think this issue should NOT be discussed, investigated and regulated?

I do appreciate your distinguishing a message board post from an ad. Let's assume that he has some agenda. Perhaps he's connected with some scammy companies. He's looking for donations, so maybe that's a scam. So, now the discussion and attack goes to that. Then there will be 35 posts about the scams this guy might be involved with. I have to agree with you that is a legitimate issue but that should not eliminate discussion of these issues.

There will be others that aren't associated with scammy companies. This is not a story that will go away.

If I have misconstrued your intent, then I apologize. It just seems that whenever the issue of a possible scam by shorts is brought up, there is this attempt to stifle it.
