It's clear that the whole US political establishment, and that includes the Democrats, go along with the official line that not only were "terrorists" responsible for 9-11 but that Saddam was behind bin Laden. So, if Soros, or anyone in opposition to W, tried to disprove the official line they would immediately be branded as "terrorist sympathizers". As it is, when Kerry suggested that he would like to organize a UN-led multinational force for Iraq he was branded as "soft on security".
