I am against that on other grounds. The first is the obvious biological risks. This is the same problem I have with many left wing rants about 'victimless crimes'. The practice will obviously and to a great extent cause harm to society and to individuals down the road ... Just like we finally figured out with drinking alcohol and then getting behind the steering wheel of a car. There are dozens of these issues on my list many of them are quite 'legal'.

The second problem is the psychological harm that is done. Since it usually involves the betrayal of a trusting relationship for someone who was at least at one time a dependent offspring. We know that when someone is emotionally dependent on a care provider that relationship must remain intact. Once violation of that occurs the psychological damage usually surfaces in unhealthy and damaging ways in other sectors of society.

btw Almost every other culture (out side America) in the world marries cousins as a common practice. But the kids are raised differently than here.
