Agreed. There has been progress in Saudi Arabia, but not nearly enough. Unfortunately, Bush was raised on the oil tit, so he's not likely to be the guy to clamp down hard on S.A. Then there is also the practical reality of needing a ready supplier of oil as well as the need for an ally to track down and incarcerate terrorists. Catch-22. Either way, I think we're rapidly approaching the time where we need to adopt a zero tolerance policy on violent ideologies of any kind, as well as despots of any kind, ally or not.

I hope so. There are those who might consider the stance of the US in the ME as being a bit hypocritical.
